CUSTOMER CARE MANAGER

BASED IN WARWICK, WITH THE OPTION OF HYBRID WORKING (WFH)

BASIC UP TO £24,000 PLUS BONUS AND BENEFITS

Do you have a solid background in customer service and enjoy resolving customer complaints?  In this customer care role, you would be dealing with complaints from start to finish, ensuring regular communication to keep the client updated.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Customer Care Manager, within this busy insurance business, you will be providing support to customer service teams to ensure complaints are investigated and resolved. The role can be a combination of home and office working but must be able to commute to Warwick on the days' office based.

  • Initially contact customers by telephone, establish rapport and investigate their complaints

  • Ensure that regular updates are given as to the progress of the complaint

  • Liaise with vehicle repairers and insurers to ensure prompt action and repair

  • Compile data and present reports using Excel

REQUIREMENTS

The key skills needed to be a Customer Care Manager are:

  • Professional telephone manner, resilient with excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to listen and empathise with customers and assist with their complaints

  • Previous experience of working in a call centre, customer service centre, conflict resolution, concern resolution, contact centre, contact resolution, hotline centre or similar background, where you have dealt with telephone calls and handled complaints

  • Background in insurance, banking, financial, motor trade, or car dealerships would be useful where you gained exposure to FCA (Financial Conduct Authority)

  • Good attention to detail coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to reach resolution and close cases

  • Computer literate e.g., Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and CRM experience

  • Organised and methodical with good attention to detail

ABOUT THE COMPANY

This rapidly expanding market leader in niche insurance products has sociable, modern, and friendly offices in Warwick. Ideally working 830 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, but there may be some flexibility for part-time hours spread over 5 days (25-30 hours) for the right person.  They are located just a short walk from the town centre within easy reach of the bus station and Warwick Parkway train station - minutes from the A46 and there is free car parking.
